Account Specialist
Responsibilities:
The Account Specialist serves as a member of the on-site Direct Support Team for a specified buying organization (e.g., Department of State, Department of Homeland Security, and other Federal Civilian agencies). This position processes buyer related requests, prepares correspondence, and fulfills buyer needs to ensure customer satisfaction. The position provides assistance to the account management team to post buys or resolve requests regarding buy specifications, validate bid responses, or any other buy-related issues. The Account Specialist is also responsible for helping to achieve monthly performance goals. The successful candidate must be driven, able to multi-task and work well in a team environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts, Business, Marketing or related area
- Strong work ethic, including initiative and self- motivation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented
- Focus on personal performance and account results
- Functional computer skills—MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
