What is a Market Specialist?

Market Specialists are the driving force behind marketplace competition. FedBid’s team of Market Specialists researches a myriad of products and engages with targeted industry leaders in order to maximize competition and savings for our customers.

Other responsibilities include:

• Identifying and recruiting new sellers to increaseMarketplace bid count
• Increasing seller awareness of FedBid opportunities
• Acting as one of the first points of contact for sellerconcerns regarding Buys posted to the FedBidMarketplace
• Obtaining and documenting seller feedback in orderto ensure seller questions and concerns are receivedby our Buyer community
• Reporting market research information to FedBid toensure successful results for the customer

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in college (Co-op positions only)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience working in a team environment
• Ability to perform online research
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

U.S. Citizen (Co-op positions only)
