Mississippi State University Touts Savings from FedBid Buy

In the face of a grim budget outlook for Mississippi’s university system, there is some good news. As reported to the Hattiesburg American by Mississippi State Higher Education Commissioner, Hank Bounds, universities are taking innovative steps to save money. A recent buy competed through FedBid for dormitory mattresses saved the system $84,000, or more than 30%.
