“We have been seeing more and more Federal customers using FedBid services, and we have therefore been more active in responding to postings. I have found the system easy to use, and well structured to help me keep track of bid activity. Additionally, the communication and support from FedBid Client Services staff has been fast and they have been great at getting answers to our questions. Looking forward to more FedBid opportunities, and thanks.”

Spotlight Unified Access to Federal Commodity Buys:
As Federal electronic government initiatives continue to pick up steam with approximately $425 million earmarked for FY 2006 alone, (Source: EOP, December 2005 Report on Expanding E-Government), the number of Buyers and Sellers registering with FedBid continues to grow.
With increased activity from Federal agencies such as the Transportation Security Agency, U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), and NASA, combined with the interface feature to FedBizOpps.gov have helped drive the average number of Sellers.
