J2EE Developer
Responsibilities:
The J2EE Developer develops and implements new enhancements to web based applications, provides information for development estimates outlining business and technical risks, and assists research for new technology or development tools for recommendations concerning current and future product direction. The position also maintains multiple environments, assists project team members, and supports other IT department teammates.
Requirements:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- 2+ years of experience in a multi-tier Java/J2EE application development
- 1+ year of experience with Struts and/or web application development
- Solid core Java hands-on experience
- Solid grasp of J2EE design patterns and development methodologies
- Experience developing applications using Struts
- 2+ years WebLogic and/or Tomcat experience
- Strong grasp of Oracle performance tuning
- 1+ years of hands-on experience in database development and SQL/JDBC, JSP, Servlets
- Ability to independently set tasks and complete work with limited direction
- Strong trouble shooting & debugging skills
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
Additional Consideration:
- Experience working with Spring, Hibernate, AJAX frameworks, JUnit, CVS, Eclipse
