Senior J2EE Web Developer
Responsibilities:
Senior user-interface developer with 7+years of relevant experience developing user-interface with web technologies: Struts, JSF, JSP and Servlets (required) HTML, CSS, and AJAX. Qualified candidate must have thorough knowledge of the Java programming language with experience developing Java-based web applications deployed in a WebLogic/Unix environment.
- Provide technical expertise to the project team members on the design, development, test and implementation of a dynamic, web-based application to a full-featured data delivery platform
- Maintain, analyze and enhance current feature
- Design and implement user-interface features with AJAX, CSS, JSP, JSF, Struts and Tiles
Requirements:
- 7+ years programming in Java, Servlets, JSP
- 5-10 years working experience with Oracle databases (minimum of 9i, 10g or 11g preferred)
- Rich-client user interface design
- 3+ years programming using Struts, Tiles, AJAX
- In-depth understanding of MVC framework
- Solid OOA/D and UML with hands-on experience in design patterns
- Strong programming skills required
- Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-task
- Excellent communications skills
- WebLogic 10, Eclipse, CVS, ANT,
- Excellent adherence to project deadlines and understands the balance between doing it right and getting the job done.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
Self-starter, able to work both independently and as part of a team
Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or a Bachelor’s Degree plus a minimum of 10 + years of hands-on experience
Additional Considerations:
- Experience in Web 2.0 frameworks and technologies such as J2EE, AJAX, GWT
- User interface development experience
- Experience with Struts, JSF, Spring MVC
- E-Business Architecture
- Previous experience with search engines, internalization, mobile integration and eCommerce integration
