Market Specialist (Several positions available)
Responsibilities:
The FedBid Market Specialist researches, recruits and educates contractors that meet specific requirements desired by federal, state, and local government agencies. The position assists Sellers in understanding the role of FedBid, Buyer specifications and monitors Bid activity to ensure compliance with competition requirements/regulations. Market Specialists quickly gain and utilize general product or service sourcing knowledge. They work within a team environment while maximizing individual efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of work experience
- Learn quickly and respond to Seller or Buyer questions
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Be detail-oriented and organized
- Engage in creative problem solving
- Work well within a team environment
- Work efficiently within constrictive time lines
- Multi-task
- Have investigative ability and desire
- Be computer literate—Internet searches, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- College degree preferred
